Our 2025 CHAT in the Park fundraiser was our biggest yet!
We hosted a fun run, bottle drive, and games day at the park. It was wonderful to see our community of people with aphasia and other acquired communication disorders come together with friends and loved ones. Around 100 people attended!
The funds raised have already enabled seven people with aphasia to attend the Alberta Aphasia Camp. This is a unique camping experience that takes a Life Participation Approach to aphasia therapy. The CHAT Society is also planning to subsidize more people with aphasia to access speech therapy.
