CHAT Society members shared their favourite camp memories from previous years:
“Going to aphasia camp feels like you get to be a kid again. I remember bunking with Rose!”
Others enjoyed the recreation activities like archery, drawing and painting. One member enjoyed canoeing and “the peaceful feeling of sitting by the lake”.
Everyone agreed that the highlight of Aphasia Camp was spending time with other people who have aphasia:
“It’s nice to be together with people who face similar challenges.” "It's not something you get to do everyday."
The group is looking forward to getting together in person and meeting new people at camp this fall!
