Participants shared their own experiences. Everyone’s experience was different but there were some common themes. Surviving stroke or brain injury isn’t easy. Living with aphasia involves disappointments and challenges. It takes hard work to recover and adapt.
Members also shared hope. Life goes on, and things get better! Members expressed the importance of appreciating life.
