Arlie Christie – Board Member, CHAT Society
I’m a second year SLP student at the University of Alberta. During my studies, I was fortunate enough to be part of a research project exploring the need for increased community-based services for individuals with aphasia.
My time on this project opened my eyes to the need for increased support and inclusivity for individuals with communication impairments in Edmonton (and across the country), as well as the need for advocacy and education for communication access in our communities.
Working alongside the incredible CHAT Society team has been such an inspiration as I begin my clinical career!
